Their city. Their rules. No prisoners. Tom Ludlow is a disillusioned L.A. Police Officer, rarely playing by the rules and haunted by the death of his wife. When evidence implicates him in the execution of a fellow officer, he is forced to go up against the cop culture he's been a part of his entire career, ultimately leading him to question the loyalties of everyone around him.

Street Kings is a 2008 action-crime film directed by David Ayer, starring Keanu Reeves, Forest Whitaker, Hugh Laurie, Chris Evans, Common and The Game. Street Kings: Motor City is a 2011 direct-to-DVD action-crime film directed by Chris Fisher and starring Ray Liotta. It is a sequel to the 2008 film Street Kings. The film is a sequel in name only, as it takes place in Detroit rather than Los Angeles and only Clifton Powell returns from the first film's cast, albeit this time as Tyrone Fowler instead of Sergeant Green. However, it deals with similar themes of police corruption and internal affairs investigations that were seen in the first film.
